Description
A fragment of textile in linen and wool. The motif consists of a border of formal plants and leaves enclosing a series of detached buds in coloured wools of red, green, yellow and indigo. Technique: plain weave ground, traces of bands of double weft threads. Tapestry motifs with built up shapes, curved weft and slits. Ends per inch (warp threads): 40, doubled over tapestry. Picks per inch (weft threads): 32 over ground, 120 over tapestry.

Einden per inch (scheringdraden): 40, verdubbeld, op tapisserie. Inslagdraden per inch: 32 op de ondergrond, 120 op tapisserie.
Fragment de tissu en lin et en laine. Une bordure de végétaux et de feuilles encadre une série de boutons détachés en laine rouge, verte, jaune et indigo. Technique : armure toile, traces de bandes de double fils de trame. Motifs en tapisserie avec formes composites, trame courbe et fentes. Fils de chaîne par pouce : 40 doublés pour la tapisserie. Tecnica: Semplice tessuto di sfondo con tracce di fasce composte da doppi fili di trama. Motivi decorativi a ricamo con figure composite, trama ricurva e tagli. Testate di ordito per pollice ( fili di ordito) 40, doppi sul ricamo. Fili di trama per pollice (fili di trama): 32 sullo sfondo, 120 sul ricamo.
