Description
A piece of linen with a bead decoration attached. According to the original label the linen is 'from the base of the temple at Memphis'. Such items were often used after the Late Period to further adorn the body of the deceased.

Stuk linnen met kralenversiering. Volgens het oorspronkelijke etiket is het gevonden aan 'de voet van de tempel van Memphis'. Dergelijke stukken werden na de Late Periode vaak gebruikt om het lichaam van de overledene verder te versieren.
Pièce de lin comportant une décoration perlée. Selon l'étiquette originale, le lin "provient de la base du temple de Memphis". Des objets de ce genre étaient souvent utilisés, après la Basse Époque, pour orner le corps du défunt.
Ein Leinenstück mit angesetzter Perlendekoration. Dem ursprünglichen Bericht zufolge stammt das Leinen "von den Grundmauern des Tempels in Memphis". Solche Objekte wurden nach der Spätzeit häufig zur weiteren Ausschmückung des Leichnams verwendet.
