General Comment
Provenance: From a cenotaph tomb, Paser was buried at Thebes. Site: From Tomb D44. Text comment: In the translation the phrase "uniting with the earth" has a funerary tone, so it is possible that the pen-case was an object specifically dedicated for the afterlife cult of Paser, rather than an object used in everyday work. Disposition: The inscription runs down all sides of the case.
