Description
This fragment of the mask of a mummy comes from the excavations of J. Quibell in the area near to the Ramesseum. Made of plaster, it is characterised by particular facial features, of a style which seemingly dates from the New Kingdom and more specifically of the end of the 18th Dynasty.

Dit fragment van een mummiemasker is afkomstig uit de opgravingen van J. Quibell in de nabije omgeving van het Ramesseum. Het is gemaakt in pleisterkalk en wordt gekenmerkt door persoonlijke gelaatstrekken in een stijl die lijkt te dateren uit het Nieuwe Rijk en meer specifiek uit het einde van de 18e dynastie.
Ce fragment de masque de momie provient des fouilles de J. Quibell dans le proche environnement du Ramesseum. Fabriqué en plâtre, il se caractérise par des traits de visage particuliers, d'un style qui semble dater du Nouvel Empire et plus spécifiquement de la fin de la XVIIIème Dynastie.
Dieses Bruchstück einer Mumienmaske stammt aus den Grabungen von J. Quibell in der Nähe des Ramesseums. Sie besteht aus Stuck und besitzt eigentümliche Gesichtszüge in einem Stil, der eine Datierung in das Neue Reich, genauer, in das Ende der 18. Dynastie nahelegt.
Questo frammento di maschera di mummia proviene dagli scavi di J. Quibell nelle vicinanze del Ramesseum. Fatta di gesso, é caratterizzata da lineamenti del volto particolari, con uno stile che sembra datare al Nuovo Regno e piú specificamente alla fine della XVIII dinastia.
Este fragmento de máscara de múmia é proveniente das escavaçöes de J. Quibell feitas nas proximidades do Ramesseum. A máscara é feita de gesso e apresenta traços particulares no rosto, num estilo que parece datar do Império Novo e mais especificamente de finais da XVIII dinastia.
Este fragmento de máscara de momia proviene de las excavaciones de J. Quibell en las cercanías del Ramsseum. Fabricada con yeso, se caracteriza por tener un rostro con unos rasgos muy particulares, de un estilo que parece datar del Imperio Nuevo y, más concretamente, de finales de la Dinastía XVIII.
