Description
Squat pottery vessel with two handles at opposite sides for the suspension-cord, and a sharp out-turned rim. It was found in a tomb at the fourth millennium BC cemetery at el-Mahasna: the tomb had been plundered, but still contained eight vases, indicating a burial of some wealth.

Plomp aardewerken vat met twee handvatten aan weerszijden voor het ophangkoord, en een scherpe naar buiten uitlopende rand. Het is gevonden in een graf uit het vierde millennium voor Christus te el-Mahasna. Het graf was geplunderd, maar bevatte nog acht vazen, wat een bijzetting van enige rijkdom suggereert.
Récipient en terre cuite, trapu, muni, de chaque côté, d'une anse à laquelle était attachée une corde de suspension. La lèvre est saillante. Il a été découvert dans un cimetière du quatrième millénaire avant notre ère, à Mahasna. La tombe a été pillée, mais elle contenait encore huit vases, ce qui indique qu'il s'agissait d'une sépulture relativement riche.
Gedrungenes Tongefäß mit zwei Griffen an gegenüberliegenden Seiten zum Durchziehen von Schnüren sowie einem scharfen, auswärts gewendeten Rand. Es stammt aus einem Grab in dem Friedhof des 4. Jahrtausends v. Chr. in el-Mahasna: das Grab war geplündert, enthielt aber immer noch acht Gefäße, ein Anzeichen für eine recht reiche Bestattung.
Tozzo vaso in terracotta con due manici sui lati per la cordicina di sospensione, e con un orlo rivolto verso l'esterno. Questo esemplare è stato riportato alla luce nel cimitero di El-Mahasna, databile al quarto millennio a.C., in una tomba che era stata saccheggiata ma che conteneva ancora otto vasi, ad indicare che si trattava di una sepoltura di una certa ricchezza.

Recipiente achaparrado de cerámica con dos asas opuestas para la cuerda de suspensión y un borde hacia afuera muy pronunciado. Fue encontrado en el cementerio de el-Mahasna, del cuarto milenio a. C.; la tumba había sido saqueada, pero todavía contenía ocho vasos, lo que indica un enterramiento de una cierta riqueza.
