Description
Scenes of daily life on tomb walls recalled the life of the deceased in this world. This part of the low-relief of Tep-em-Ankh is an example. A nude man is grasped round the legs by a large monkey. He is trying to keep the monkey away with his left arm. A second man is behind them. He is wearing a short kilt and holding a whip with one hand. In his other hand he leads a female monkey who is carrying a baby. There are still traces of color.

Les scènes de la vie courante représentées sur les parois des tombes rappellent la vie du défunt dans ce monde. Cette partie du bas-relief de Tep-em-Ankh est un exemple. Un homme nu est attrapé par les jambes par un grand singe. Il essaie d'éloigner le singe avec son bras gauche. Un deuxième homme se tient derrière eux. Il porte un kilt court et tient un fouet dans une main. De son autre main, il emmène un singe femelle portant un bébé. Il reste encore des traces de couleurs.
صورت مناظر الحياة اليومية على جدران المقابر، حياة المتوفى فى عالم الأحياء. وعلى سبيل المثال، فهذا الجزء من النقش البارز من مقبرة تب-إم-عنخ يصور رجلاً عارياً، وقد قبض قرد ضخم على ساقه وهو يحاول إبعاد القرد بذراعه الأيسر. بينما جاء خلفه رجل ثان يرتدى نقبة قصيرة ويمسك بسوط فى إحدى يديه، وباليد الأخرى يقود إحدى إناث القرود وهى تحمل صغيرها. ولايزال النقش يحمل بعض من ألوانه الأصلية
