The Global Egyptian Museum

The owner of this stela was an Ethiopian king whose cartouches have been erased. The stela depicts offering scenes above 10 horizontal hieroglyphic lines that tell a very strange tale. 

This king burned a number of people alive for eating raw meat. They were considered to be sinners, so thereafter their descendants were not allowed to enter the temples of Amun-Re.

Le propriétaire de cette stèle était un roi éthiopien dont les cartouches ont été effacés. Cette stèle représente des scènes d'offrande au-dessus de 10 lignes hiéroglyphiques horizontales qui racontent un conte très étrange. 

Ce roi a brûlé de nombreuses personnes vivantes pour avoir mangé de la viande crue. On les considérait comme des pécheurs, ainsi par la suite leurs descendants n'étaient pas autorisés à entrer dans les temples d'Amon-Rê.

لوحة لملك أثيوبي، محيت خراطيشه. وتصور اللوحة مشاهد قرابين، وتحمل نقشا بعشرة أسطر هيروغليفية تحكي قصة في غاية الغرابة. 

وفيها أن الملك قام بحرق عدد من الناس أحياء؛ لأكلهم اللحم نيئا. واعتبروا لذلك من أصحاب الخطايا، فلم يسمح لأحد من ذريتهم بعدها بالدخول إلى معبد آمون رع.
