The Global Egyptian Museum

This sketch shows the attempt of an artist to draw a colored bull, a symbol of strength in ancient Egypt. 

The artist showed his familiarity with the character and appearance of this powerful animal. He included details of the coloring of the bull's hide, the hair of its tail, and the horns. 

To the right of this sketch, there is a figure of a man wearing a kilt standing and holding a staff in his left hand. The artist again included details of the man's body and hairstyle and the man's kilt with fine lines. 

The man's figure is thought to be a later addition or part of another artistic composition because of the distance between the bull and the man and the lack of a rope between them.

Cette esquisse montre la tentative d'un artiste de dessiner un taureau coloré, symbole de force dans l'Egypte ancienne. En incluant des détails tels que la couleur de la peau, les poils de la queue et les cornes, l'artiste montra sa connaissance de l'animal ainsi que de son apparence. 

A droite de cette esquisse se trouve un homme en position debout portant un pagne et tenant un bâton dans la main gauche. Une fois encore, l'artiste inclut des détails ; ainsi, le corps, la coiffure et le pagne de l'homme sont réalisés avec minutie. 

Toutefois, il semble que ce personnage ait été ajouté ultérieurement ou qu'il ait fait partie d'une autre composition artistique. En effet, la distance qui le sépare du taureau et l'absence de corde entre eux étayent cette supposition.
