Description
A fragment of a plaque on which, at the top, two persons are shown facing each other with a tree between them. The two were called respectively, the Mauritanian and the African. At the top of the scene there are two figures of predatory animals. The plaque is made of terra sigillata, which has a red glaze and was a kind of pottery that was imported from Arezzo in Italy in the middle of the second century B.C. It was popular in the countries of the Mediterranean during the Hellenistic period.

Long Description (French): Un fragment de plaque sur lequel apparaissent deux personnes se faisant face, un arbre entre eux, sur la partie supérieure. Ils étaient respectivement nommés le Mauritanien et l'Africain. Sur la partie supérieure de la scène, on note deux figures des animals prédateurs. La plaque est confectionnée en terra sigillata, consistant en un vernis rouge, une forme de poterie importée d'Arezzo, en Italie au milieu du second siècle avant Jésus-Christ. Ce matériau était populaire dans les pays de la Méditerranée pendant la période Hellénistique
جزء من لوحة ممثل على الجزء العلوى منها وجهان لشخصان ينظران بعضهما لبعض وبينهما شجرة. وقد أطلق على هذين الشخصين الموريتانى والأفريقى. ويظهر أعلى المنظر إثنان من الحيوانات فى حالة إنقضاض. اللوحة مصنوعة من التيرا سيجيلاتا وهو نوع من الفخار ذو طلاء أحمر مستورد من منطقة أريزو بإيطاليا فى منتصف القرن الثانى ق.م، وقد ساد وانتشر فى حوض البحر المتوسط فى العصر الهلينستى.
