Wavy-handled jar with the characteristic cord decoration aroun the body, looking as if taken from basketmaking. The undulated decoration close to the rim derives from the primitive handles that have disappeared, becoming just adornment motives. This kind of luxury ware was part of the funerary equipment, containing organic substances, occasionally burnt. According to some authors, its origin seems to be Palestinian, used for transporting oil.
