The black-topped red pottery adopted a wide variety of shapes during the Prehistoric period. This jar is a good example of it, with an everted rim and a stable base. They were sun dried and carefully polished. Their red color came out after baking them, while their black color was obtained by carbonization, once taken out from the oven.
