Collar made up of one row (two rows in the central design) of small disc-shaped beads of light blue faience, typical of Classical Kerma. The ends of the collar are made up of similar beads of silver. The principal decorative element consists of a goldplaque, joined to a cylinder for suspension, depicting a lunar crescent, which is flanked by lotus flowers in cloisonné technique. This is accompanied by two gold flies attached to a plaque. The fly is a military decoration in Egypt. The gold may have come from the mines of Nubia.
