Glass vessel

M10149.jpg

A ewer- shaped vessel made from glass, coloured black, gold/orange and white. The handle is a yellow/green colour and translucent. The design shows a Greek influence and it may have been imported from Phoenicia, on the Syrian coast. Such vessels were used to hold perfumes and oils.
