Statue of the Governor of Dendera

This statue depicts the governor of Dendera wearing a Greek chiton, or garment, with some folded pleats at the bottom.

He is standing, with his left leg stepping forward, and his arms bent beside his body.

His facial features are delicately sculpted and he wears a floral crown. The statue is supported by a back pillar that bears hieroglyphic inscriptions.
