Flash

The scarab is in the shape of a true Scarabaeus Sacer, more precisely the variety with v-shaped notches on the wing shields and a fused head. A hole is drilled through the scarab along the axis. It is unclear whether the damage to the inscribed surface was caused by the drilling of this hole.
