The single row of beads consists of 43 tubular beads of gold leaf and 62 round beads of carnelian. In the central position is a golden panther head as a pendant suspended on two rings. Its ears are semicircular and its highly raised eyebrows are worked in relief in the gold leaf. The eyes, nose, and the teardrop in the eye have been cut out of the gold and were originally inlaid with glass or semi-precious stone as is clear from parallels. From the panther head, four additional small pendant beads of carnelian were suspended on rings. These beads form an additional decorative element.
