Two borders of bullets on sticks form a battlement ornament interspersed with dark dots. They frame a series of battle scenes of horsemen opposing foot soldiers, in alternating arrangements. The horsemen have the arms which are closest to the viewer raised. Some of them hold globular objects. The foot soldiers are shown striding, armed with shields and various types of armour, not all of which are clear. All figures are nude except for a chlamys.
