Description
This blue faience shabti belongs to the First Prophet of Amun, Pinedjem II. This grandson of Pinedjem I was the High Priest of Thebes from about 990 - 969 BC. Just like all the other shabtis of this man, now in several different Egyptian collections around the world, the Brussels shabti comes from the Deir el-Bahari cachette. It is inscribed with the hieroglyphic text of Chapter 6 of the Book of the Dead, written in eight horizontal lines.

Deze oesjabti in blauwe faience behoorde toe aan de "eerste profeet van Amon" Pinedjem II. De kleinzoon van Pinedjem I was Thebaans hogepriester van ongeveer 990 tot 969 voor Christus. Zoals alle andere oesjabti's van deze persoon die bewaard worden in meerdere Egyptische collecties in de wereld, is het exemplaar van Brussel afkomstig uit de cachette van Deir el-Bahari. Het bevat de hiëroglifische tekst van Spreuk 6 van het Dodenboek, geschreven in acht horizontale regels.
Cet ouchebti en faïence bleue a appartenu au "premier prophète d'Amon" Pinedjem II. Le petit-fils de Pinedjem I était pontife thébain d'env. 990 à 969 av. J.-C. Comme tous les autres ouchebtis de ce personnage conservés dans plusieurs collections égyptiennes du monde, l'exemplaire de Bruxelles provient de la cachette de Deir el-Bahari. Il contient le texte hiéroglyphique du Chapitre 6 du Livre des Morts noté sur huit lignes horizontales.
Dieses Uschebti aus blauer Fayence gehörte dem "Hohenpriester des Amun" Pinudjem II. Der Enkel von Pinudjem I. war von etwa 990 bis 969 v. Chr. thebanischer Hoherpriester. Wie alle anderen erhaltenen Uschebti dieses Mannes, die im Besitz verschiedener ägyptischer Sammlungen auf der ganzen Welt sind, stammt das Brüsseler Exemplar aus dem Mumienversteck von Deir el-Bahari. Es enthält den Text des 6. Kapitels des Totenbuches in acht horizontalen Zeilen.

Come tutti gli altri usciabti di questo personaggio conservati in numerose collezioni egiziane del mondo, l'esemplare di Bruxelles proviene dalla cachette di Deir el-Bahari. Esso contiene il testo geroglifico del capitolo 6 del Libro dei Morti scritto su otto linee orizzontali.
