Dit rolzegel in steatiet diende om, door afrolling, afdrukken te maken in klei van de hiëroglifische tekens die op de buitenkant gegrift zijn. Zelfs indien de juiste betekenis van de tekens onzeker blijft, kunnen ze niet anders dan geïnterpreteerd worden als de handtekening van de eigenaar.

This steatite cylinder seal was used to make prints of the hieroglyphs inscribed on the outer surface by rolling it along damp clay. Even though the correct meaning of the signs is unclear, they cannot be interpreted as anything other than the signature of the owner.
