Description
These jewels come from the isolated grave of a young child at Mirgissa/Iken and were worn around the neck. A spherical bead of black paste, a ring-shaped bead of carnelian, a blue enamel amulet in the shape of a bird, another of this same material that could be a second bird, and a lovely carnelian amulet depicting a seated baboon.

Ces bijoux proviennent d'une tombe de jeune enfant, isolée, à Mirgissa/Iken, et étaient portés au cou: ainsi une perle sphérique en pâte noire, une perle annulaire en cornaline, une amulette en pâte émaillée bleue en forme d'oiseau, une autre de la même matière, peut-être un deuxième oiseau, et une très jolie amulette en cornaline en forme de cynocéphale assis.
