Description
Inlay element shaped like the silhouette of a male figure. The body has been cut out using using a saw (beginning of the arms, thinning of the torso). There are holes pierced across the edge at the level of the arm and near the bottom of the figure; these allowed limbs to be attached or a string to be strung. Another hole, this time in the middle of the belly, served to accomodate the phallus (?). The head and shoulders have been carved in the round. The shape of the cranium and the nose are indicated.
