Large jar of a well-known model during the New Kingdom. The clay is common, orange and polished. The restricted shape of the body was accomplished with the help of a string, whose impression is still visible. The body is biconical with an oval base. The neckless orifice is bordered by a convex lip. A malformation that was caused during the drying process disrupts the balance of the body. This jar was topped by a cup and was placed at the head of the deceased. It is a recurring item in funerary equipment of Mirgissa/Iken.

Grande jarre d'un modèle très répandu au Nouvel Empire. La pâte est commune, orangée, lissée, le resserrement de la panse est provoqué à l'aide d'une cordelette dont l'empreinte est encore visible. La panse est biconique avec un fond ovoïde. L'ouverture, sans col, est bordée par une lèvre convexe. Une déformation provoquée au séchage rompt l'équilibre de la panse. Cette jarre était fermée par une coupe et placée à la tête de l'individu inhumé. Elle fait partie du mobilier funéraire courant de Mirgissa/Iken.
