Description
Lovely bezel of a ring composed of a scarab, made from a hard green stone (jasper), in a gold setting carved with interlace motifs. The two preserved loops to which served to attach the ring are covered with gold. The reverse is decorated with a floral motif. All the scarab's anatomical details are depicted: head, clypeus, prothorax and elytra.

Très joli châton d'une bague composé d'un scarabée en pierre dure verte (jaspe) serti dans une monture en or gravée d'une tresse sur le plat. Les deux anneaux qui recevaient l'anneau sont conservés et encadrés de fils d'or. Le scarabée lui-même porte un décor floral sur le plat. Tous les détails anatomiques sont représentés: la tête, le clypeus, le prothorax et les elytres.
