Description
The sacred Apis bull was regarded as a manifestation of the Ba of the god Ptah. His main sanctuary was near the temple of Ptah in Memphis. This votive statue shows a striding bull on a base. He is wearing a disc with uraeus between his horns. He is also wearing a collar and a small blanket.
