Description
An aragonite tablet with seven circular depressions and above them the names of seven sacred oils used in funerary ceremonies. Such oils were standardised, derived largely from plants and had been in use since the Old Kingdom. The god of sacred oils was Nefertem, son of Ptah, and who was also the god of the primeval lotus blossom.

Een tablet van aragoniet met zeven ronde kuiltjes met daarboven de namen van de zeven heilige oliën die gebruikt werden in begrafenisceremonieën. Zulke oliën waren gestandaardiseerd, grotendeels bereid van planten en al in gebruik sinds het Oude Rijk. De god van de heilige oliën was Nefertem, de zoon van Ptah, die ook de god was van de allereerste lotusbloem.
Tablette en aragonite avec sept dépressions circulaires, surmontées des noms des sept huiles sacrées employées durant les cérémonies funéraires. Ces huiles standardisées étaient faites de plantes et étaient employées dès l'Ancien Empire. Le dieu des huiles sacrées était Nefertoum, fils de Ptah, qui était également le dieu du lotus primordial.
Platte aus Aragonit mit sieben runden Aushöhlungen und über ihnen die Namen der sieben heiligen Öle, die in den Begräbniszeremonien benutzt wurden. Die diesbezüglichen Öle waren vorgeschrieben, wurden weitestgehend aus Pflanzen gewonnen und waren seit dem Alten Reich in Gebrauch. Der Gott der heiligen Öle war Nefertem, der Sohn des Ptah, der auch der Gott der uranfänglichen Lotusblüte war.
Una tavoletta di aragonite con sette abbassamenti e sopra di essi i nomi di sette oli sacri usati nelle cerimonie funerarie. Tali oli erano prodotti in serie, derivavano per la maggior parte da piante e usati fin dall'Antico Regno. Il dio degli oli sacri era Nefertum, figlio di Ptah; egli era anche il dio del fiore di loto primordiale.
Um tabuleiro de aragonite com sete cavidades circulares e em cima destas os nomes de sete óleos sagrados utilizados em cerimónias funerárias. Tais óleos eram normalizados, derivados em grande parte de plantas e foram usados desde o Império Antigo. O deus dos óleos sagrados era Nefertum, filho de Ptah, e que foi também o deus da primordial flor de lótus.

Estos aceites sagrados derivaban la mayoría de plantas, y se usaban desde el Imperio Antiguo. La divinidad encargada de los ungüentos era Nefertum, hijo de Ptah, que era además la divinidad del florecimiento primigenio de la flor de loto.
