Description
A bright blue glazed faience amulet in the form of the udjat-eye, considered to ensure powerful protection against all malign influences. The eye is further defined with lines of a darker blue. The udjat-eye was worn in life but was also a funerary amulet. The amulet is pierced behind for suspension.

Helderblauw geglazuurd faience amulet in de vorm van een oedjat-oog, dat een grote afweerkracht bezat tegen kwade invloeden. Het oog is verder gedefinieerd door middel van lijnen in donkerder blauw. Het oedjat-oog werd tijdens het leven gedragen maar gold ook als funerair amulet. Het stuk is doorboord om te kunnen worden opgehangen.
Amulette en forme d'oeil-oudjat en faïence bleu vif. On lui accordait un pouvoir de protection contre les forces néfastes. L'oeil est souligné de lignes bleu foncé. L'oeil-oudjat, porté par les vivants, était aussi une amulette funéraire. L'arrière de l'objet est percé pour permettre la suspension.
Ein hellblau glasiertes Fayenceamulett in Gestalt eines Udjat-Auges, das als mächtiger Schutz gegen alle schlechten Einflüsse galt. Das Auge ist mit Linien in dunklerem Blau verziert. Das Udjat-Auge wurde zu Lebzeiten getragen, war aber auch ein Totenamulett. Das Amulett ist an der Rückseite durchbohrt, damit es aufgehängt werden konnte.
Amuleto di faience invetriata di colore blu-brillante, avente la forma dell'occhio-udjat, che si riteneva assicurasse protezione contro tutte gli influssi maligni. L'occhio è rifinito con linee di colore blu-scuro. L'occhio-udjat era indossato nella vita quotidiana ma rappresentava anche un amuleto funerario. L'amuleto è forato nella parte posteriore per poter essere appeso.
Amuleto em faiança vidrada em azul vivo com formato de olho-udjat, considerado como protectore contra todas as influências malignas. O olho apresenta-se bem definido por linhas azuis escuras. O olho-udjat era usado em vida e também como amuleto funerário. O amuleto está perfurado na parte de trás para suspensao.

El ojo está definido con líneas azul oscuro. El ojo-udyat era llevado en vida, pero también como amuleto funerario. El amuleto está horado por detrás para poder ser colgado.
