Gesneden houten fraai gemodelleerde uraeus. Duidelijk zijn de sporen te zien van witte verf en verguldsel.
Uraeus en bois soigneusement sculpté. Des traces de peinture blanche et de dorure sont encore visibles.
Ein geschnitzter, fein modellierter Holzuräus. Spuren der weißen Farbe und der Vergoldung sind deutlich zu sehen.

From the collection of the Castle Museum, Norwich, bought by Liverpool Museum in 1956. The uraeus was originally in the private collection belonging to R.G. Gayer Anderson.

General Comment
Preservation: The uraeus itself is complete but is probably a component of a larger element such as a frieze, shrine, chest or furniture decoration. The wood is cracked on the left-hand side.
