Description
A roughly rectangular ostracon made of pottery. There are eight lines of inscription in Greek, a tax receipt. It was given by two tax collectors, Aibontios Niger and Patachemis (or Pachnumi), whose names are known from an ostracon found at Elephantine. The sherd dates to the time of the rebel emperor, Avidius Cassius.

Ruwweg rechthoekig aardewerken ostracon. Er staat een inscriptie in acht regels Grieks op, een belastingkwitantie. Het is ooit afgegeven door twee belastinggaarders, Aibontios Niger en Patachemis (of Pachnumi), die ook bekend zijn uit een ostracon dat op Elefantine gevonden is. De scherf dateert uit de tijd van de opstandige keizer Avidius Cassius.
Ostracon en terre cuite à peu près rectangulaire. Il comporte une inscription grecque de huit lignes, un reçu fiscal. Il a été rédigé par deux receveurs des impôts, Aibontios Niger et Patachemis (ou Pachnumi), dont les noms sont connus grâce à un ostracon découvert à Éléphantine. Le tesson date de l'époque de l'empereur rebelle Avidius Cassius.
Ein grob rechteckiges Keramikostrakon. Die acht Zeilen in Griechisch enthalten eine Steuerquittung. Sie wurde von zwei Steuereinnehmern, Aibontius Niger und Patachemis (oder Pachnumi) ausgestellt, deren Namen von einem auf Elephantine gefundenen Ostrakon her bekannt sind. Die Scherbe datiert in die Zeit des Gegenkaisers Avidius Cassius.
