Description
The finely modelled head of Hepi, the baboon-headed god, one of the four Sons of Horus. The lid from a canopic jar, made from limestone. The facial features are detailed in black. Hepi was protector of the lungs.

Fraai gemodelleerde hoofd van Hepi, de baviaankoppige god en een van de vier Horuszonen. Deksel van een canopenvaas, van kalksteen. De gelaatstrekken zijn in zwart aangezet. Hepi beschermde de longen.
Tête de Hepi finement modelée, dieu à tête de babouin, l'un des quatre Fils d'Horus. Le couvercle provient d'un vase canope en calcaire. Les traits faciaux ont été exécutés en noir. Hepi était le protecteur des poumons.
Der fein modellierte Kopf des pavianköpfigen Gottes Hepi, eines der vier Horuskinder. Es handelt sich um den Deckel eines Kanopenkruges aus Kalkstein. Die Gesichtszüge sind schwarz hervorgehoben. Hepi war der Beschützer der Lungen.
La testa finemente modellata di Hepi, il dio dalla testa di babbuino, uno dei Quattro Figli di Horo. Si tratta del coperchio di un vaso canopo in calcare. I lineamenti del volto sono resi in nero. Hepi era il protettore dei polmoni.
Tampa de vaso de vísceras, feita em calcário. Apresenta a cabeça de Hepi, minuciosamente modelada, deus com cabeça de babuíno, um dos quatro Filhos de Hórus. Os traços faciais estao detalhados a preto. Hepi era o protector dos pulmoes.
