Description
A dummy canopic jar, made from limestone with the head of Qebehsenuf. The facial markings are defined in black. On the front of the jar is a vertical inscription within a black border. Such dummy jars were often placed in the tomb in later periods although the viscera were embalmed and replaced in the body. Qebehsenuf protected the intestines.

Dummy canopenvaas van kalksteen met de kop van Kebehsenoef. De aangezichtstrekken zijn in zwart aangezet. Op de voorzijde van de vaas staat een verticale inscriptie met zwarte omlijsting. Dergelijke onechte vazen werden in latere perioden vaak in het graf bijgezet hoewel de gebalsemde ingewanden in het lichaam waren teruggeplaatst. Kebehsenoef beschermde de ingewanden.
Vase canope en calcaire, factice, représentant la tête de Qebehsenouf. Les traits faciaux ont été réalisés en noir. Sur le devant du vase, figure une inscription verticale entourée d'une bordure noire. A Basse Époque, les viscères étaient embaumés et replacés dans les corps momifiés. Cependant, des vases factices étaient souvent déposés dans les tombes. Qebehsenouf était le protecteur des intestins.
Ein Scheinkanopenkrug aus Kalkstein mit dem Kopf des Kebehsenuef. Die Gesichtszüge sind schwarz hervorgehoben. Auf der Vorderseite des Kruges befindet sich eine vertikale Inschrift in einem schwarzen Rahmen. Solche Scheinkrüge wurden in späterer Zeit oft in Gräbern deponiert, obwohl die Eingeweide nach der Einbalsamierung in den Körper zurückgelegt wurden. Qebehsenuef beschützte die Gedärme.
