Description
Copper spearhead excavated by the British School of Archaeology in a season preceding the 1913 division of finds permitted for export. In that year the School, Petrie's body for promoting excavation and recording in Egypt, had excavated at el-Riqqeh and Memphis, and this spearhead perhaps belongs to the finds from the latter city.

General Comment
Site: Possibly from Memphis rather than el-Riqqeh, two sites excavated in 1913 by the BSAE.
