General Comment
Site: The major Egypt Exploration Fund accessions of 1901 were material, mainly Greco-Roman, from the Faiyum, and material, mainly dynastic Egyptian, from Abydos. In view of the funerary character of this item, and its date, it seems most likely that it derives from the Egypt Exploration Fund excavations at Abydos.
