Description
Wheel-made pottery vessel with wide, hand-coiled base, globular body, and narrower extended neck with rim. The neck and body are painted with red (probably red ochre) and white (around the neck below the rim, and with a line extending diagonally into the body. It was probably deposited among funerary offerings in a 2nd Intermediate Period tomb at Abydos.

Aardewerken kruik, op een draaischijf gemaakt, met een brede handgevormde basis, bolvormig lichaam en nauwere verlengde hals met rand. De hals en het lichaam zijn met rood (waarschijnlijk rode oker) en wit (rond de hals onder de rand, en met een lijn die schuin naar het lichaam loopt) beschilderd. De kruik is waarschijnlijk achtergelaten temidden van funeraire offergaven in een graf uit de 2e Tussenperiode in Abydos.
Récipient en terre cuite, façonné au tour, à large base roulée à la main, au corps globulaire, au col allongé très étroit avec rebord. Le col et la panse sont peints en rouge (probablement en ocre rouge) et blanc (autour du col, sous le bord). Une ligne s'étend en diagonale sur la panse. Il fut vraisemblablement déposé parmi les offrandes funéraires d'une tombe de la Deuxième Période Intermédiaire, à Abydos.
Auf der Töpferscheibe gefertigtes Gefäß mit breitem, handgeformtem Boden, kugeligem Körper und einem schmaleren, langen Hals mit Rand. Hals und Körper sind rot (vermutlich roter Ocker) und weiß (um den Hals unterhalb des Randes herum und mit einer diagonalen Linie zum Körper hin) bemalt. Es befand sich wahrscheinlich unter den Grabbeigaben in einem Grab der 2. Zwischenzeit in Abydos.
Vaso in terracotta fabbricato al tornio con ampia base avvolta a mano in una forma a spirale, copro globulare, e collo stretto con orlo. Il collo ed il corpo erano dipinti di rosso (probabilmente rosso ocra) e bianco (attorno al collo sotto l'orlo, ed una linea che si estendeva in diagonale nel corpo). Era stato probabilmente deposto fra le offerte funerarie di una tomba di Abydos del Secondo Periodo Intermedio.
