Description
Purple-painted pottery vase with perforated handles for suspension cord. The style of decoration is typical of the wares placed in burials of the elite during the Naqada II Period. This example was excavated at Hierakonpolis, which was then developing from a series of small settlements into one of the most important cities in Upper Egypt.

Paarsgeschilderde kruik van aardewerk met doorboorde handvatten voor een ophangkoord. De decoratiestijl is typisch voor de aardewerksoorten die in graven van de elite van de Naqada II-periode werden geplaatst. Dit exemplaar is opgegraven in Hiëraconpolis, dat zich toen ontwikkelde uit een aantal kleine nederzettingen tot één van de belangrijkste steden in Opper-Egypte.
Vase en céramique peint, de couleur violette, doté d'anses perforées permettant la suspension à l'aide de cordes. La décoration est caractéristique des objets appartenant au mobilier funéraire des élites durant la période de Nagada II. Cet exemplaire fut découvert à Hierakonpolis, cité qui, à partir de petits établissements, est devenue l'un des centres les plus importants de Haute Égypte.
Purpur bemaltes Keramikgefäß mit durchlöcherten Henkeln für die Aufhängungsschnur. Der Stil der Verzierung ist typisch für die Keramik, die den Begräbnissen der Elite während der Naqada-II-Zeit beigegeben wurde. Dieses Exemplar wurde in Hierakonpolis ausgegraben, das sich damals von einer Reihe kleiner Siedlungen zu einer der wichtigsten Städte Oberägyptens entwickelte.

Lo stile della decorazione è tipico del vasellame posto nelle sepolture dell'élite durante il periodo Naqada II. Questo esemplare fu scavato a Ieraconpoli, che a quel tempo si stava trasformando da una serie di piccoli insediamenti in una delle città più importanti dell'Alto Egitto.
Vaso em cerâmica pintada com motivos vermelhos, com asas perfuradas para suspensão. O estilo decorativo é típico da baixela colocada nas sepulturas de elite durante a fase de Nagada II. Este exemplar foi encontrado nas escavações de Hieracômpolis, a qual evoluiu de uma série de pequenos assentamentos para uma das mais importantes cidades do Alto Egipto.
Vaso de cerámica decorado con pintura de color morado, con asas perforadas para el cordón de sujección. El estilo de la decoración es típico de los enterramientos de las clases altas durante el período de Naqada II. Esta pieza fue descubierta en Hierakónpolis, cuando el lugar se estaba convirtiendo en un extenso centro urbano, surgido a partir de pequeños asentamientos.
