The Global Egyptian Museum

The circular mosaic depicting Queen Berenice the Second was discovered at Tel-Tamai in the Delta. The scene, its surrounding decorations, and part of the geometric frame are all that remain of this panel. 

The panel consists of a red frame followed by a white frame then a black one. Another wide circular frame is decorated in imitation of feathers, or possibly plant leaves.

Elements of the decorations are arranged in three rows varying in size, from the smallest on the inside to the largest on the outside.

Représentant la reine Bérénice Deux, cette mosaïque circulaire fut découverte à Tel-Tamai dans le delta. La scène, le pourtour décoré et une partie du cadre géométrique sont tout ce qui reste de ce panneau. 

Celui-ci se compose d'un cadre rouge suivi d'un cadre blanc et ensuite d'un noir. Un autre cadre circulaire est décoré de manière à imiter des plumes ou peut-être des feuilles de plantes. 

Des éléments décoratifs sont arrangés en trois rangées de taille différente, de la plus petite à l'intérieur à la plus grande à l'extérieur.

اللوحة تتكون من الخارج الى الداخل على النحو التالي: إطار احمر قاتم، يليه إطار أبيض، ثم إطار أسود (بورفيريت وبازلت) وإطار دائري عريض مزخرف بطبقة تقلد في شكلها ريش الطيور أو أوراق النباتات التي تأخذ نفس الشكل.

هذه العناصر موزعة في ثلاثة صفوف متدرجة الأحجام، أصغرها الصف الداخلي وأكبرها الصف الخارجي.
