The small terra-cotta lantern imitates the Pharos, or Lighthouse, of Alexandria. The three tiers of the tower, rectangular, eight-sided, and cylindrical, are clearly distinguished. 

The holes serve as windows of the Pharos, while the lines incised in the clay mark the courses of masonry. Light comes out of the holes in the body, while the vertical ring on the top is for hanging the lantern.

Cette petite lanterne en terre cuite imite le phare d'Alexandrie. Les trois étages de la tour se distinguent nettement : le premier est rectangulaire, le deuxième est octogonal et le troisième est cylindrique. 

Des trous représentent les fenêtres du phare alors que les lignes gravées dans l'argile symbolisent les blocs de construction. Précisons également que la lumière sort des trous percés dans le corps alors qu'un anneau vertical sert à accrocher la lanterne.

مصباح صغير من التراكوتا (طين محروق) يمثل منارة - فنار الإسكندرية، والطوابق الثلاثة للبرج المستطيل الشكل والثماني الأضلاع والأسطواني مميزة بوضوح.

وتمثل الثقوب نوافذ الفنار، بينما تمثل الحزوز مداميك حجارة البناء. والغرض من الثقوب كان أيضا الإضاءة، والحلقة في القمة كانت لتعليق المصباح.
