The amulet depicts a pair of fingers, which would endow the wearer with their functions in the netherworld. The Ancient Egyptians believed a part of a body was enough to represent the whole body. 

Thus, because of this belief, through the magic of the amulet, a pair of fingers could substitute for damaged body parts or organs. The amulet of two fingers was also used for protection against magic.

Cette amulette représente deux doigts. Ainsi, celui qui la porte pourrait bénéficier de leurs fonctions dans l'au-delà. Les anciens Egyptiens croyaient qu'une partie du corps était suffisante pour représenter l'ensemble du corps. 

Ainsi, en raison de cette croyance, via la magie de l'amulette, une paire de doigts pourrait remplacer des parties du corps ou des organes endommagés. Cette amulette représentant deux doigts était également utilisée comme protection contre la magie.

تتخذ هذه التميمة شكل إصبعين، يعتقد أنهما كانا يقومان بدور مفيد لمن يلبسهما فى العالم الأخر. فقد اعتقد المصرى القديم أن جزء من الجسم يكفى لأن يمثل الجسم كله. 

وعليه، ونتيجة لهذا الإعتقاد، ومن خلال سحر التمائم، فإن هذا الزوج من الأصابع يمكن أن يحل محل الأجزاء المفقودة من الجسم أو من الأحشاء. كما كانت التميمة ذات الإصبعين تستخدم أيضاً فى الحماية من السحر.
