The Global Egyptian Museum

This head of a colossal statue depicts a king probably from the late Ramesside period wearing the White Crown of Upper Egypt. 

The nose, the ears and the top of the crown are broken. 

There are traces of the cosmetic eye lines and the eyebrows, done in high relief. 

The mouth is carved small with a gentle smile, as was usual in the depictions of the features of the late Ramesside sculptures. 

The head shows the king with the royal false beard attached to his chin.

Cette tête d'une statue colossale représente un roi propablement de la fin de la periode ramesside. Elle porte la couronne blanche de la Haute Egypte. 

Le nez, les oreilles et le haut de la couronne sont cassés. 

On voit des traces des sourcils et de maquillage, en relief. 

La bouche est sculptée de petite taille avec un sourire doux, ce qui était habituel dans les représentations des traits en la fin de la periode ramesside. 

La tête représente le roi avec la fausse barbe royale fixée sur son menton.

هذا الرأس الكبير لتمثال ملكي من عصر الراعمسة المتأخر، يصور الملك لابساً تاج مصر العليا الأبيض وواضعاً اللحية المستعارة على ذقنه. 

ونلاحظ أن الأنف والأذنين وقمة التاج مكسورة. 

إلا أنه لاتزال توجد آثار مساحيق التجميل على خطوط العينين والحواجب منفذة بالنقش البارز.
