Description
This relief is from a lintel, or horizontal beam or stone above a door, and two doorjambs from the mastaba, or tomb, of Nefermaat. It is decorated with figures of the deceased and his family. The right jamb depicts the deceased standing with a rod in his hand. In another register, the wife of the deceased stands in front of three attendants. The left jamb shows Nefermaat standing with his attendants.

Ce relief provient d'un linteau (pierre ou poutre horizontale placée au dessus d'une porte) et de deux montants de porte retrouvés dans le mastaba de Nefer-maât. De plus, il est orné de figures du défunt et de sa famille. Le montant droit représente le défunt tenant une barre à la main. Dans un autre registre, on peut voir l'épouse du défunt face à trois serviteurs. Le montant gauche montre Nefer-maât en compagnie de ses serviteurs.
نقش جداري من عتبة حجرية أفقية تعلو بابا، ومن عضادتي باب؛ من مصطبة نفر- ماعت. والنقش مزين برسومات للمتوفى وأسرته. ويصور النقش على العضادة اليمنى المتوفى واقفا بعصا في يده. وفي سجل آخر تقف زوجة المتوفى أمام ثلاثة من الخدم. ويصور النقش على الدعامة اليسرى نفر- ماعت واقفا مع خدمه.
