Description
Two model papyrus fishing boats were found in the tomb of Meketre. They are filled with fishermen doing their work and being directed by an oarsman sitting at the stern. A huge net with wooden floaters is filled with fish and is stretched between the two boats.

Deux bateaux de pêche miniatures furent retrouvés dans la tombe de Meketrê. A leur bord se trouvent des pêcheurs qui accomplissent leurs tâches. Ils sont dirigés par un rameur assis à la poupe. Un immense filet doté des flotteurs en bois et tendu entre les deux bateaux est rempli de poissons.
