The Global Egyptian Museum

The statue depicts King Neferefre sitting on his throne. He wears a short wig in the shape of a skullcap. A uraeus, or royal cobra, probably made of gold, adorned once his forehead. His features are very finely carved and the face still has traces of the black color of the cosmetic eye lines, the eyebrows, and the mustache. His right arm is folded on his chest and he holds a scepter. 

Although many parts of the statue are lost, such as the left arm, the kilt, and a large part of the legs, it is considered to be a very fine statue.

Cette statue représente le roi Néferefrê assis sur son trône. Il porte une perruque courte en forme de calotte. Un uraeus, ou cobra royal, probablement en or, ornait son front. Ses traits sont finement sculptés et son visage comporte encore des traces de couleur noire des lignes cosmétiques des yeux, des sourcils et de la moustache. Son bras droit est plié sur sa poitrine et il tient un sceptre. 

Bien qu'un grand nombre de parties de cette statue soient perdues, comme le bras gauche, le pagne et une grande partie des jambes, on considère que cette statue est très raffinée.

هذا التمثال الملك نفر-إف-رع جالساً على العرش وقد وضع على رأسه شعراً مستعاراً قصيراً على شكل قلنسوة. وكان يزين جبهته الصل المقدس أو الكوبرا الملكية التى كانت مصنوعة غالباً من الذهب. وقد نحتت ملامح الملك بدقة، كما لاتزال هناك بعض آثار اللون الأسود الذى على الوجه التى حددت فيه مساحيق التجميل خطوط العينين والحواجب، كما لون الشارب. وذراع الملك اليمنى مثنية أمام صدره حيث يمسك بصولجان. 

وعلى الرغم من فقد التمثال لكثير من أجزائه مثل الذراع الأيسر والنقبة وجزء كبير من الساقين، إلا أنه يعتبر تمثالاً رائعاً.
