Description
Khufu-iam and his wife are shown seated on a backless seat. The husband's hands are on his knees and he holds a small staff in his left hand. He wears a short curly wig covering his ears and a short overlapping kilt with wavy pleats, which was a fashionable garment during his period. His wife sits next to him, resting her right arm on his right shoulder, a common pose in Ancient Egyptian statuary that shows strong family ties. She wears a wide wig of medium length over her natural hair, which is partly visible.
