The statue is one of the most perfect images of Amenemhat III. The king is represented as an aged man with deeply set eyes, protruding cheekbones, and protuberant ears. He sits on a throne with a low back and wears a sehndit and a nemes with uraues; on the temples there are small holes for attaching a beard made of another material (probably metal). On the front surface of the throne are carved two similar symmetrical inscriptions.

Algemeiner Kommentar
Text comment: If the inscriptions really mention Mut, this is the earliest known record of the goddess. However, the interpretation of the vulture hieroglyphs as Nekhbet is also possible (opinion of O.D.Berlev voiced in personal discussion).
