Description
This fragment of papyrus which dates from the second half of the second century of our era contains several verses (265-292) of the 12th book of the Iliad. This part of the epic of Homer deals with the battle of the Greeks and the Trojans around the walls of the town of Troy. The verso of the papyrus carries an onomastic which suggests an oxyrhynchite origin of the document.

Dit papyrusfragment dat dateert uit de tweede helft van de 2e eeuw van onze tijdrekening, bevat enkele verzen (265-292) van Boek XII van de "Illias". Dit deel van het heldendicht van Homerus behandelt de strijd tussen de Grieken en de Trojanen rondom de muren van de stad Troje. Het verso van de papyrus draagt een onomasticon dat een oxyrhynchitische oorsprong van het document doet vermoeden.
Ce fragment de papyrus qui date de la seconde moitié du 2e siècle de notre ère contient quelques vers (265-292) du Livre XII de l' "Iliade". Cette partie de l'épopée d'Homère traite de la bataille des Grecs et des Troyens autour des murs de la ville de Troie. Le verso du papyrus porte une onomastique qui suggère une origine oxyrhynchite du document.
Dieses Papyrusfragment aus der 2. Hälfte des 2. Jahrhunderts n. Chr. enthält einige Verse (265-292) des XII. Buches der "Ilias". Dieser Teil des homerischen Epos beschreibt die Schlacht der Griechen und der Trojaner rund um die Mauern der Stadt Troja. Die Rückseite des Papyrus trägt ein Onomastikon, das einen oxyrhynchitischen Ursprung des Dokumentes nahelegt.
Questo frammento di papiro che data della seconda metá del II secolo della nostra era contiene alcuni versi (265-292) del Libro XII dell'Iliade. Questa parte dell'epopea di Omero tratta della battaglia dei greci e dei troiani intorno alle mura della cittá di Troia. Il verso del papiro reca un'onomastica che suggerisce un'origine ossirinchita del documento.

Este parte da epopeia de Homero trata da batalha entre gregos e troianos em torno das muralhas da cidade de Tróia. O lado contrário do papiro contém uma onomástica que sugere que o documento é originário de Oxirinco.
