Small bovine head, carved in high relief and broken in ancient times. The details of the eyes, the upper lip and nostrils are indicated by shallow incisions; a hole through the neck is provided for suspension. This object, touchingly naive, is proof of the cultural and economic importance of cattle for the population of Kerma.
