Canopic jar, badly cracked, bearing on one side an incised line on either side of the hieroglyphic writing of the god Qebehsenuf, one of the four sons of Horus. This is one of the relatively rare Middle Kingdom examples, and was found in the elite cemeteries at el-Riqqeh, near the 12th Dynasty Residence Itjtawy.
