Deep bowl of a metasedimentary siltstone, with inturning rim, from a rich burial at the 1st Dynasty cemetery at Tarkhan, between Memphis and the Faiyum. The burial contained a wooden coffin, with a double row of jars along each side. The burial was covered by a roof of two wooden beams supporting seven branches.
