The statue of Nefer depicts him standing with his stiff body supported by a back pillar. He wears a short kilt with an overlap secured by a knot that passes under the belt. He holds in his clenched fists what seems to be a small version of the scepter of authority.
The firmly modeled torso indicates his youth. His short hair, eyes, and eyebrows are painted black. The man's skin is painted reddish brown, in accordance with traditional ancient Egyptian artistic style.
His name and title, the "Overseer of the Brewery," is written on the base of the statue.
