The rectangular wooden piece has a carving of a man with a beard holding a staff topped by a cross in his left hand. He also holds what seems to be an incense burner in his right hand.
To the right of his head there are three Coptic letters. He has a beard and a moustache and is wearing a hood and a lengthy garment with long wide sleeves falls to his feet.
In the upper part, the ornamental frame is more prominent than the rest of the scene. The lower part has a vertical raised ornament
