This funerary monument of the 5th-6th centuries AD is composed of a triangular pediment and a tympanum. The pediment is decorated with acanthus leaves, palms, and peacocks, shown on both sides. The scene in the tympanum, carved in raised relief, depicts a well-known image from the Old Testament, namely 'Daniel in the lions' den'. The biblical character, dressed in Persian costume, raises his hands to heaven in the classic manner of the appellant. At his feet are two lions. This central image is surrounded by numerous inscriptions in Greek.
